the heart empty of love but mind full of intelligence.
the heart full of love but mind empty of intelligence.
the heart empty of love and mind empty of intelligence."
* * *
What exactly is this thing called "Intelligent love?"
If you contemplate, you will first realize that love is essentially a state of abiding in which there is no aversion (hatred). If you realize that love is primarily the absence of hatred, and, with that intelligence (understanding), if you further your contemplation, you will begin to realize that love is also essentially a state of abiding in which there is no attachment (greed).
Once you understand that love is the absence of aversion as well as attachment, then, automatically, deep contemplation and mental absorption will arise in you, and if you are lucky, you will then realize that love is ultimately a state of abiding, a state of living, in which there is no delusion of separate self: no ego; no sense of ‘I.’
So, essentially and ultimately speaking,
Intelligent love
is a state of abiding
in which there is
no aversion,
no attachment,
no Self-apparition.
When there is no aversion, there is appreciation of everything. When there is no attachment, there is affection towards everyone. When there is no self-apparition, there is sense of inter-connectedness and oneness, which I call "awareness."
So, essentially and ultimately speaking,
Intelligent love
is a state of abiding
in which there is
appreciation,
affection,
awareness.
