We have been talking about Love as the four combined practices of Loving-kindness
Compassion
Gladness, and
Oneness.
The four practices of Love arise in different intensities to give rise to various types of love experiences, ranging from crude form of romantic love or the love of worldly-relationships to refined form of transcendental love, to the pure form of perfect love or 'unconditional love.'
These love experiences arranged in a heirarchy of unconditinality is what is known as the “Ladder of Love.”
The easiest and quickest way to understand the Ladder of Love is to understand the expression which corresponds to a particular type love experience.
Click on the slide below for detailed explanation of each type of love experience.

The study of "expressions" related to each type of love reveals that as one climbs the ladder of love, the "I" slowly diminishes, the "You' drops out, the "my' drops out until no sense of separation remains.
Climbing the "Ladder of love” is the most pragmatic and effective way of loving more and more - expanding - until love becomes expressionless; until love becomes boundless, unconditional.
This is no wordsmithing. This is real. Try it.
The sense of saparateness-the Ego (I, You, etc) is indirectly proportional to Love. Less ego means more love. Less "I" means more love. Less "You" means more love. Less "my" means more love.
As ego reduces, love increases, and, when ego is completely exterminated, love becomes perfect. Love becomes unconditional, because, the root condition of 'ego' no longer exists.
